Student can understand the story after learning. 2.

Student not only can read the sentences about the story, but also can make a puppet by themselves. 3.

Vocabularies: Good idea; first, then. II.Teaching key points: 1.

Student can master the words about our body. 2.

Student can make a puppet. III.Teaching difficulties: 1.

Students can read and understand the vocabularies of the story (first, then, Good idea) 2.

Students can introduce their works use the following sentences：

Look at my puppet. This is the head.

This is the arm. This is the body……

IV. Teaching materials . Scissor , colorful paper, thread ,paint ,brush. V. Teaching procedures Step 1.Warm-up 1.

Sing the song If You Are Happy. 2.

Revision (Let’s do) T: Boys and girls , we’ve learnt some words about our body in Unit 3 do you remember? Ss: Yes. T: Good. Now ,listen to me and do the right gestures, are you ready ? Ss: Ready!

Then I say and students do. Step 2.Presentation. 1.

Show the tools and materials to students. 2.

Let students guess What we’ll do this time. T:Everybody,look at these, what will we do ? Ss: Sorry, I don’t know (They can answer my question in Chinese.) T: OK, Let’s go. Now please look at zoo and zip on page

31. What are they doing ? Ss: Make a puppet (They can answer in Chinese) 3.

Learn the story with students, let students can read and use the following words: first , then , good idea. Step1 .Practice Activity 1 ：DIY time.(make a puppet)

Ask students make a puppet the animal they like. 2.

Teach students how to use the materials. 3.

Students finish their works .(puppet) Activity 2: Show time. Ask students to show their puppet one by one on the teacher’s desk after they finish. Activity3: Introduction time

Ask several students to introduce their puppet like this: Look at my puppet. This is the head. This is the leg. This is the body……

Step 4.Consolidation Introduce someone use the sentences in Unit3.

Student can begin like this: Look at me! This is my face. This is my mouth. This is my leg……

Step 5.Homework

1.

Read the story go home. 2.

Introduce your puppet to your parents. 3.Review Unit3 (Let’s talk ＆Let’s

learn)
