Warming up: What is your favourite animal? And why? （展示动物图片，说说你最喜爱的动物是什么？为什么？）

Show the title of the unit: animals in danger 用一些图片和语句意思来引导学生理解in

danger的意思，从而引申animals in danger濒危动物。

Game :guess what animal it is. 出示动物的身体特征，猜一猜这是什么动物，复习动物单词。

Listen ,read and guess.听课文录音，跟读课文，猜猜这是什么动物。

重点句型：It has got….It eats …..It lives….等句型的复习。分别展示elephant、cow、horse 和polar bear。

Show the map of earth 展示地球地图，让学生认识七大洲和四大洋，并学习读音。

并出示句子，让学生猜最后一种动物。

学生听录音，齐读课本part1。

Practice判断练习，巩固知识：

通过陈述句和一般疑问句的形式巩固练习

smaller than的用法。
