Step1.Warming-up and revision 1.

Teacher asks: What day is it today ?

What’s your favorite subject and why? 2.

Answer the question individually. Today is Monday... My favorite subject is English because it’s interesting.... 3.Purpose:本活动主要是帮助学生复习一周每天以及各个学科的英语表达和why问句的意义。

Step2:Pre-listening 1.

Assign the task of the exercises in 1a 1.

)Play the recording and instruct students about what they are going to do 1.Finish the exercises in 1a. 2.

)Listen to the tape carefully and check the words they hear in 1a. 1.

Purpose 本活动主要是为接下来的听力任务输入关键词，提前让学生熟悉听力材料。

Step3 While-listening 1.

Lead the students to go through the black and understand how to get information from it. 1.

)Assign the task for students to circle the classes David talks about on this schedule 2.

)Listen to the teacher carefully and what they should do 3.

)Concentrate their mind on the tape and get the answers for questions.
