Step 1 Greeting Say hello to our students and free talk. Step 2 Lead-in

Show a picture of clothes store. T: Do you know things? S1: Hat. S2: Bag.

S3: ……

Step 3 Grammar T: There are so many beautiful clothes. We want to buy some.

What should I ask? S: 这个东西多少钱？

T: How to say it in English? Talk it with your partners. T: Who can give me answer? S: How much…..?

T: Good. Then ask students translate the sentences. 这件T恤多少钱？5美元。

这些袜子多少钱？3美元。

S1: How much is this T-shirt? It’s five dollars.

S2: How much are these socks? They’re two dollars.

Show the picture of clothes and the price tags, ask students to practice. Ask some students to show their conversations. Then, finish 3a-3c. Step 4 Practice (1)

Make a dialogue There is a dialogue in the clothes store. Please make a dialogue like this.

S: Seller

C: Consumer S: Welcome to the Mr. Cool’s Clothes Store.

S: Can I help you? C: Yes, I want to buy a hat? S: These hats are new style. C: I like it. How much is it? S: It’s five dollars.

C: It’s too expensive.

S: OK, look this one. It’s three dollars.

C: Wow, it is also beautiful. I will take it. S: Here you are. C: Thank you. ………….

本节课内容比较简单，难点在于单复数的搭配。袜子、裤子和短裤等名词，学生容易忽略。以及美元和人民币的单复数，学生容易出错。
