课堂设计指导思想：

从学生最熟悉的、最自豪的北京奥运会入手，利用丰富的视频和图片的素材应用，生动形象导入“奥运”的话题，激发学生的爱国热情和自豪感。通过快速阅读，细节阅读和深层次阅读并辅之以适当的练习，能很好的帮助学生理解课文并能根据适当的提示来进行课文复述，最后根据学生的认知，给他们进行话题讨论。课后的写作练习能帮助他们巩固课文的内容和拓展知识的外延。

教学过程设计

Teaching Aims:

Teaching Procedures: Step I: Lead-in (Brain storming) The teacher ask students to have a free discussion “What do you know about the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games?”, then show students a short video about the Beijing Olympic Games and a series of pictures about the Olympics.(flag, motto, mascot, torch, gold medals, slogan and events) 【设计说明】利用自由讨论北京奥运会的感想，锻炼学生听说能力和思维的敏捷性，然后播放奥运会的相关视频，赋予学生视觉和听觉的认识，调动学生的学习兴趣和激发学生的好奇心，通过图片展示和文字说明，吸引学生的注意力，帮助学生更好更深地理解本节课的主题和领会奥运精神，激发学生的爱国热情和自豪感。
