六年级下册Unit4 Feeling Excited (2nd)教学设计

一、学情分析:

1.

学生在第1课时Story的学习中,学习了词汇excited, scared, heard a noise。在课堂上老师也会反复出现why, because 的问答。

2.

学生学过有关feelings的单词有:happpy, sad, bored, hungry, thirsty, angry等。

3.

在前面单元里面学生学过很多过去式词组,对本单元的语言表达有一定的词汇基础。

二、教学目标

1.

学生能巩固本单元目标单词:tried, scared, excited, sad, stayed up late, heard a noise, got a kitten, got a poor grade。

2.

学生能准确运用目标句型:I’m (tired). Why are you (tired)? Because I (stayed up late) ( last night).

3.

能力较强的学生能在目标句型的基础上拓展一些日常用语,丰富对话内容。

4.

学生能在具体的语境中正确表达自己的感受。

三、教学流程

Step1. Free talk Step2. Presentation 1. T introduce the Green’s Sunday morning. T read it for twice. 2. Learn to say: Ss learn the vocabulary and the structures. T tell the differences between stayed up late and woke up late T make some extensions about kitten-cat, puppy-dog, calf-calves. 3. Ss read all the words in group and then show , one by one in group.

4. T make an extention about other feelings, eg: angry, bored, happy, worried, sleepy, hungry, thirsty, hot, cold and so on.

5. Ss fill in the blanks for the passage.

Step3 Practice 1. Brain storming.

Divied the class into 6 groups, and have a coorporation work to find out the things about one feeling.

2. Look and guess.

Ss look at the picture and guess her feeling and guess the reasons.

Pair work: every pair choose one of the pictures and make the dialogue.

3. Pair work There are two kinds of diologues, Ss choose one of them according to their abilities.

4. Exercise Ss tell out the words about feelings according to the real situations. Step4 Homework.
