一、Learning Aims：

1. Knowledge aims(知识目标) After this lesson, you will be able to: (1). Master some new words through reading. (2). To get to know about Xiamen. (3). To be able to introduce a city. 2. Skill aims (技能目标) (1).To be able to summarize the topics of a conversation. (2).To be able to retell the important information of a conversation. 3. Affective aims (情感目标) To build up the love for one’s own city 二、教学重难点：

1. 教学重点

（1）会正确读并且理解文中涉及到的生单词：

（2）找到文中提到的有关厦门的Location， Climate，Tourists，Business district，

Western district， Gulangyu Island ，Impression of Xiamen。

（3）能用英语介绍厦门。

2. 教学难点

（1）归纳出有关厦门的（Location， Climate，Tourists，Business district，

Western district， Gulangyu Island ，Impression of Xiamen）的信息。

（2）用所学词汇介绍厦门。

Listen carefully and know what they are supposed to be able to learn in this class. Look at the pictures and know something about it. 通过图片，为即将要引出的话题做铺垫
