Step1 Warm up

1.Sing the song Boy and girl.

2.Show out the pictures to review the key words and sentences of the three units.

Step2 Presentation

1.T:Boys and girls, do you know ChenJie has another friend? She is a girl. Now,they meet John on the playground. Do you want to know the girl ? Do you want to know what they are talking about ? Please read the conversation on page32.

2.Write the questions on the Bb:

(1)What’s the girl’s name ?(WangTong)

(2)Is the girl tall or short ?(tall)

(3)Is she fat ?(No,she isn’t)

Get Ss to answer thequestions.Check the answers.

3.Explain the sentence:I like sports. Then read it many times. Step3 Practice(read aloud)

1.Play the recording for the Ss to listen and repeat.

2.Ss work in groups of three to read the conversation.

3.Act out the conversation.

Ask several groups to the front to perform the conversation. 4.Give right assessment.See which group is the best.
