一、教材分析

本单元主题是More about me,本课以How do you go to school? I go to school by _____.为中心话题,围绕“transportations”展开。主要是通过文本学习如何询问他人的上学方式,并引导学生进行知识的拓展,更换不同的地方提问,如:How do you go to the park/library/zoo?等,其教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,这对于提高学生的综合能力,特别是说的能力很有帮助。

二、学情分析

四年级学生活泼好动,善于模仿,乐于参与活动,喜欢积极表现自我。思维以形象思维为主,主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。他们的记忆强度不大,注意力保持时间短,有一定的观察能力,他们需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师,需要在趣中求学。经过四年的学习,对英语已有初步认知,有一些英语基础,因此教师要设计学生喜欢的活动让每一个学生都参与进来。

三、教学目标

1. 通过课堂学习,学生能够听说读写四会单词car, bike, taxi, by, home, park, 能运用句型How do you go to school? I go to school by _____.

2.通过小组合作,师生互动、游戏和歌谣操练等形式,学生能够灵活运用本课对话,并提高自身的语言实际运用能力。

3. 联系生活实际,营造学习英语的氛围,培养学生用英语思维的能力,及大胆用英语交流的能力。通过小组活动,培养学生与他人合作的意识和技巧。

四、教学重难点

熟练掌握询问和描述到某个地方去所使用的交通工具的单词和句子,能在实际生活中灵活运用。

六、教学过程

Step 1:Warming up

1. Greeting.

2. Free talk.

Show the picture of me, I live near our school, so I go to school on foot. Then show the picture on foot. Read it together and put it on the blackboard.

设计意图:通过自由谈话,激发学生兴趣、激发学生发言的欲望。

Step 2 : Presentation

1. Listen and imitate Part 2,ask how does Jenny go to school?

2. Play a game: watch and listen, guess what it is.

1) Listen the sound, guess what it is. Then show the picture of bike, read it one by one, and write it on the blackboard, contrast “like, kite, fine”, Read “I go to school by bus.” Write “by”.

2) Read how do you go to school? I go to school by bike.Ask group between.

3) Guess the picture that what go fast on the screen. Then show the picture of car, contrast “park, far, arm”, read and write it on the blackboard.

4) Listen the sound, guess what it is. Then show the picture of bus, read it in groups and put it on the blackboard.

5) Observation part of the taxi, guess what it is. Then show the picture of taxi, read and write it on the blackboard.

3. Summary: on foot, bike------near, bus, car, taxi------far, 通过Free talk,处理单词home.

4. Emotional education: Travel pay attention to safety.

设计意图:通过游戏,激活学生已有知识和行为,在游戏中教授新单词及句型。

Step 3: Practice

1. Practice the sentence in the group : How do you go to school? Then finish the task 1.

2. Listen to the chant. Practice the chant in the group.

设计意图:通过创编chant,学生能够运用句型说出如何去不同的地点。并且呼应Part 1里的地点单词。

Step 4: Production

1. Show the picture of park, teach “park”.

2. Make a dialogue about the structure with the picture of Beidahe in groups.

3. Group show.

设计意图：通过改编歌谣、对话、创编歌曲，有利于发展学生的综合语言能力， 有利于

培养学生合作精神和创新思维能力， 有利于学生自主学习能力的培养，能进一步激发学生的学习动机。
