一、教材分析

义务教育教科书,河北教育出版社小学英语四年级下册第二单元Lesson 7 Months of the Year是本单元的第一节课,本单元主要学习月份单词、序数词、重要节日以及天气状况的词汇,同时学习表达日期、生日和描述天气的句子结构。而本课主要学习的是其中一个重点部分月份单词以及和其相关的句子。新内容较多,难度相对有些大,因此我设计了游戏、歌曲等活动让学生熟练掌握12个月份单词,让学生在玩中学,乐中记。

二、教学目标:

知识目标:

1. 学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇:

month, Jan., Feb., Mar., Apr., May, Jun., Jul., Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., Dec.

2. 学生能听懂并运用下列句子:

What’s your favourite month?

Whose birthday is in…?

3. 学生能唱歌曲Twelve Months。

能力目标:能够能够听、说、读、写十二个月份的单词和理解句式What’s your favourite month? Whose birthday is in…?并能在实际生活中运用,。

情感与态度:根据小学生的特点,引导他们在宽松和谐的气氛中学习英语,调动他们学习的积极性、主动性,发挥创造性。

教学反思:本节课的重点是12个月份单词,单词都比较长,难记忆,我设计了sing a song、游戏、小组合作等活动让学生通过操练掌握12个月份单词。教学中环环相扣,步骤紧凑,课堂密度比较大。本节课比较好的地方有以下几个:首先在新课导入环节让通过“星期之歌”英文歌曲拉近师生之间的距离,这样自然的从星期过渡到月份新授内容。新授过程中加入了节日、天气等描述12个月份,这样不会使学生感到枯燥乏味。Sing a song的设计适合四年级学生的年龄特点,让学生手、口、脑、眼并用,再次巩固记忆12个月份单词。通过“月份转盘”帮助学生趣味性记忆单词。本课有两个主要句型“What’s your favourite month?”和“When is your birthday?”2人小组活动,4人小组活动递进式的任务,让学生运用新知的同时,复习旧知。提高了小组合作能力和创新精神。本课的一个闪光点是我在对本课句型“When is your birthday?”我提前设计了一个学生课堂学习单:Name’s birthday,让学生通过自己询问小组同学生日进行操练。学生能够较好的运用学习单进行句子问与答的操练,所以我认为这样设计是十分符合学生学习的特点的。本节课同样也存在一些不足,一些遗憾。如小组活动的过程中,优等生充分发挥了自己的潜能,才能表现出色,学困生还是有被忽略的一面,思考、发言、表现得机会不多。以后还需加强自身的业务素质,驾驭课堂以及课堂应变能力。总而言之,本堂课虽然精心设计,但也存在许多不足之处,在“指导-自主学习”这条道路上,还需长期探索下去。
