My English teacher

I have many good teachers, but I love my English teacher best. She is a good teacher and about thirty years old. She is a

beautiful

and enthusiastic woman called Miss Wu. Miss Wu is a lady with a sense of humor and always friendly

to us. She always makes her class interesting , so we all like her and her lessons. It’s rather difficult for us to study English well, but in her class, we feel English is very easy and we all enjoy it.

She not only cares for our study, but also for our life. Whenever we

have problems, she is glad to help us.

This is our English teacher who is loved and respected by all of us.

Step2 Lead-in: Listening to an English song

Tell Laura I love her Laura and Tommy were lovers. He wanted to give her everything: flowers, presents and, most of all, a wedding-ring . He saw a sign for a stock car race，a thousand dollar prize it read. He couldn’t get Laura on the phone, so to her mother Tommy said, “Tell Laura I love her, tell Laura I need her. Tell Laura I may be late, I’ve something to do, that cannot wait . He drove his car to the racing ground. He was the youngest driver there . The crowd roared as they started the race . Round the track they drove at a deadly pace No one knows what happened that day. How his car overturned in flames But as they pulled him from the twisted wreck , with his dying breath ,they heard him said:“Tell Laura I love her. Tell Laura I need her. Tell Laura not to cry, my love for her will never die!” Now in the chapel ,Laura prays for Tommy who passed away. It was just for Laura he lived and died. Alone in the chapel, she can hear him cry: “Tell Laura I love her. Tell Laura I need her. Tell Laura not to cry, my love for her will never die!”

1. Watch the pictures from the first to the last one carefully and get the

main idea of the whole story. 2. Choose the correct key words or phrases for each picture.

Step 3. Put each group of words into a sentence. (Pay attention to the correct verb tense.)

4. Choose correct connectives to join the sentences into a passage.
