Module 10 Unit 2 Go straight on!
一、Teaching material As we know,this book is full of colorful pictures and interesting activities. The topic of Go straight on!is closely related to students’ daily life,so they will be easily attracted by the topic.
二、Students
The Ss in grade 6 have got some English foundations. They are curious about something new and they want to learn English in interesting ways,so I will design various interesting activities for them. 三、Key points and difficult points
1.The Ss can understand and speak the new words :
Go straight on. Turn left/right.Stop! Don’t go!
2.The Ss can understand and speak the sentence patterns:Where’s…? 3.The Ss can discuss the real life with the sentence patterns.

Step1 is warming-up
Free talk Step2 is Presentation and practice 1. Show pictures,and ask the students “what can you see in the picture?Guess.What will happen?”When they speak out their ideas.I will use the words to praise them.Such as“Good,wonderful,exllent and so on”
2. Listen and try to find out the words they don’t undertand. Then study in groups. Then I will explain the meaning of the words. 3.Listen and read, and try to underline the sentences. Then study in groups. Then I will explain the meaning of the sentences. 4.Listen and read again.Discuss the answers in groups. 5.Read in roles. Step3 is consolidation Enjoy the video.Then work in groups, then act out the text. Step4 is summary Ask Ss themselves to summarize what they have learnt today. Step5 is homework Listen and repeat the text. 九、Blackboard design
On the top, I write the title of the unit, and on the left I write the key words, and in the middle,I write the sentence pattern,and on the right are drawings or class test.This design can help students to have a clear outline and remember the key words easily.
