一、教材解析

这是小学三年级英语下册第6单元C 部分的Story Time的教学内容,本节课是本单元的最后一个课时,是有关Zoom和Zip一起摘苹果时所发生的趣事作为学习内容的。学习race, idea, only,won四个单词和句型Let’s have a race. Good idea以及How many apples do you have ? I have only three.

二、学情分析

英语是三年级学生接触的一门新学科,由于只学习了一个学期,学生的英语基础较为薄弱,所以在教学中更侧重他们对新知识的学习与旧知识的巩固,本堂教学内容有关Zoom和Zip一起摘苹果时所发生的趣事,非常贴近学生生活,是英语教学生活化的体现,容易激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

三、教学目标

(一)知识与能力

1.能够听、说、读race, idea, only,won四个单词。

2.能听懂、会说征求意见的句型Let’s have a race. Good idea 和询问数量的句型How many apples do you have ? I have only three.

3.培养学生运用英语表演故事的能力,提高学生英语口语水平。

(二)过程与方法

1.warm up——presentation and practice——consolidation——summary

2.教学方法采用情景教学法与故事教学法。

(三)情感态度与价值观

培养学生学习英语的兴趣,体会到英语学习的乐趣。

四、教学重点

1.让学生能够听说、认读race, idea, only,won四个单词。

2.正确运用句型Let’s have a race. Good idea 以及询问数量的句型How many apples do you have ? I have only three.

五、教学难点:

1. race, idea, only,won四个单词的读音。

2.两个句型的正确运用。

六、教学准备:书,磁带,图片,ppt

七、教学过程:

Step1 warm up

1. Listen to the Number song. Let the students enjoy it.

2. Free talk.

Step2 presentation and practice

1. Today we are going to learn a story. This story is about Zoom and Zip. They are going to pick up apples.

2. Show a picture. Zoom and Zip are under the apple trees. They are going to have a race-------picking up the apples.

Ask:Who won the race?

Teach the word won, let the students know the meaning of the “won:”.

Teach the word “race “, let the students know the meaning of the “race”.

Now listen to record of the story time

Then let a student to answer this question: Zip won the race.

3. Now let the students look at the Picture 1(many apples) . And then let the students listen to this passage:

---Wow! So many apples! Let’s have a race.

---Good idea!

together.

Let the students read one by one, then read

Show the sentence card:

together.

Let two students make a short dialogue.

4. Look at the picture 2.and 3.

And then let the students listen to second passage.

1.2.3.4 5,6,7,8, 9 18, 19, 20, 17

Zoom and Zip are counting the apples by themselves.

Let students know who has seventeen apples and who has three apples.

5. .Look at the picture 4.

1) Ask: ----How many apples does Zoom have ?

----How many apples does Zip have?

----Who won at last?

And then let the students listen to third passage.

----Look! I have 17.

----How many apples do you have?

----I have only three.

2) Ask again: ----How many apples does Zoom have?

Answer: ---- Zoom has three apples.

Ask again: ----How many apples does Zip have?

Answer: ----Zip has seventeen apples.

Ask again: ----Who won at last?

Answer: ----Zip won the race.

3)Show a sentence

Let the students read one by one ,then read

together .

read together .

Let the students say it again and again with feelings.

And then let two students make a short dialogue.

Step3 consolidation

Let students make a dialogue.

1. Teacher and a student act out this story.

2. Let students make a dialogue. One is Zoom and the other is Zip.

Step4 summary

Today, we learned four words. They are race, idea, only,won and one sentence “Let’s have a race. Good idea”以及“How many apples do you have ? I have only three.”

Fruit is good for your health. You may eat more.

Step6 Homework

1. Read the story twice after class..

2. Act this story out after class.
