教学内容： Unit 11，Book I 课前反思： 第一课后，学生们学会了用英语询问对方年龄。在此基础上，三年级学生还是以培养他们的学习兴趣为主。不要让他们对英语学习产生逆反。

教学目标： 知识目标：

1、By using courseware, teaching tools, students can listen, read say the part of ‘Let’s act’. 2、Can read the letter M,N. 能力目标：

1、Through listening, reading, role play, the students can use “How old are you?”to ask others’ age. 2、Through learning the whole text, we can let the students act the dialogue of ‘Let’s act. 3、Sing and song ‘Happy Birthday to You!’.

情感目标：

Learn how to ask others’age when you want to konw, and enhance the interests of the students to learn English.

教学重点：

1. Learn to use the pattern: “How old are you? Happy birthday to you! ”

2. Learn to use the dialogue in the part of “Let’s act”.

3、Finish the part of “Try to do”.

教学难点：

1. Encourage the students to use the sentences to express their. 2. The pronunciation of the letter “m, n”. 教具准备: word cards, courseware，books, teaching tools. 教学时间：2课时

一、 复习检测（nine, ten, eleven, twelve ）

二、 新课传授

1.巧妙导入：Lead a video between some people. There is a birthday cake in the center of the screen. Others are singing a song to one of them. 2.引出主题： The teacher shows the picture which is a part of the video. Let the students guess how old is the main character. 3.解决难点： Words and Sentences Study

（1）. For answering the question, the students must count the candles in the picture. （2）. The teacher can explain the word “candle”, and let the students know the meaning of that word. （3）. The teacher shows the picture in the book, and asks the students to guess what happened to them. （4）. The teacher can take out a card, and teach the letters “M, N”. （5）. Play a missing game to consolidate the letters “M, N”. 4.听音感知： T: Listen to the tape and try to choose how many animals you’ve heard. 5.默读初始： Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups. 6.朗读探知：Read loudly and answer the questions. 7.听音跟读：Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读：小组读、男女读、开火车读、领读、师生对读、角色读。

9.留白处理：留白读，去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

10.短文示范：

A: Look! This is my birthday cake. B: Wow! Happy birthday to you.

A: Thank you very much. B: How old are you? A: Look at the birthday cake and guess B: Ten candles. You are ten. A: Yes. Let’s eat. 11.学生仿写：(Students can imitate it and try to say it.) 12.课堂小结：
