教学内容

《辽宁师范大学出版社》三年级起点六年级下册《Unit4 A different weekend》第一课时。

教学目标 1、知识目标

(1).能听、说、读、写:Did you play sports? No, I didn’t.并在实际情景中使用。

(2).能听懂、会说过去式短语:watched cartoons, stayed at home, cleaned the room, washed clothes, cooked dinner, watered the flowers。

(3).能和同桌一起完成Survey and report中的小调查。

2、能力目标

培养学生的观察力、想象力,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

3、情感目标

激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学习积极性,引导学生积极与他人合作,在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。

重点难点

教学重点:能听、说、读、写:Did you play sports? No, I didn’t.并在实际情景中使用。

教学难点:能熟练运用一般过去时的一般疑问句进行提问,并能做出肯定或否定回答。

学情分析 六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好后进生的转化工作。教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,注意分层教学,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。

教学过程 第一课时 StepⅠ:Warming up and revision 1. Greeting with each other. 2. Free talk。教师引导学生用不同的词汇及句子回答 How are you doing? 为下文的学习做好铺垫。 StepⅡ:Presentation and drill

1.Today we’ll learn Unit 4 A different weekend. 2. Learn the phrases and sentences. T: What did you do last weekend ? Ss answer. T: Did you play sports ? Ss: Yes, I did. No, I didn’t. T: Can you guess what I did last weekend? Show pictures and guide students to ask and answer. Ss work in pairs. (watched cartoons, stayed at home, cleaned the room ,washed clothes, cooked dinner, watered the flowers)

3. Look, Xiao Hui and Linda are coming. They’re talking about their weekend. Listen to the tape and answer the questions. Q1: How was Linda’s weekend? Q2: Did Xiao Hui play sports last weekend? Q3: What did Linda do on the weekend? 4. Listen again and check the answers. 5. Guide students to read the dialogue. Step Ⅲ:Practice 1.Talk with your partner, try to use the sentences: Did you …….? Yes, I did ./ No, I didn’t. 2. Do a survey. 3. Read and circle. Step Ⅳ:Consolidation and extension 1. Magic time. Wow! A letter. Read “David’s weekend”. Write “My _____ weekend”

Show the letter. Read it to the class. 2. What have you learnt today? Let’s chant. 3. Homework (1).Read and recite the dialogue.
