教材分析:本课选自辽师大版小学英语三年级下学期Unit5 “What color is it?”。本课时主要学习用英语表达事物的颜色,其内容贴近小学生的生活和学习实际,有利于学生在真实的语言情境中培养运用英语进行交际的能力。教材强调学生在学习过程中的感悟、体验、实践、参与以及思维能力的发展,突出兴趣培养,重视学科内容的有效融合,注重培养学生自主学习的意识和能力。
学情分析:三年级学生的年龄在九、十岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。学生学英语不久,有可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,课堂上要以表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、认真唱!
课前反思:在本单元的学习中,学生需掌握有关颜色的英语单词,以及句型I have a ... What color is it?It’s red. May I have a look?Sure.
教学目标:
知识目标:
1、By using courseware, teaching tools, students can listen, read say and write the four words: “red, green, yellow, blue” .
2、Through making sentences, asking and answering practice, students can understand and use the patterns “What color is it? It’s… May I have a look? Sure.” proficiently.能力目标:
1、Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen,read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context。
2、Through learning the whole text, we can let the students make a new dialogue
according to their learning in the class..
情感目标:
Develop s tudents’ sense of cooperation with others in group work.
教学重点:
1. Learn to use the pattern: “What color is it? It’s… May I have a look? Sure.”
2. Learn to use the dialogue in part “learn to say” and try to make a new dialogue. 教学难点:
Distinguish “It’s a + n.” and “It’s … (color)”.
教具准备: word cards, courseware, a robot,books, teaching tools.
教学时间:1课时
教学流程:
一、复习检测(some words about animals)
cat, elephant, dog rabbit, duck, lion, panda, tiger, bear, bee, cow, horse, monkey, chicken, fish, sheep, pig, bird.
二、新课传授
1.巧妙导入:
T: Today we have a new friend. Look! He’s coming.
robot & I have a robot.
2.引出主题:
T: I have a robot. Do you have a robot?
S: Yes. I have a robot. (each one has a robot as the present.)
3.解决难点:
<1> New words: red yellow blue green & Key sentence: What color is it?
⑴red & What color is it?
T: Look at my robot. Let’s see what will happen? (PP T→The robot turns red slowly.) What color is it?
S: It’s r ed.
Group work 1: S1: What color is it? (PPT shows something red)
S2: It’s red.
Group work 2: S1: I have a robot.
S2: What color is it?
S1: It’s red.
⑵yellow
T: Look at my robot. (PP T→The robot turns yellow slowly.)
What color is it?
S: It’s y ellow.
Group work 1: S1: What color is it? (PPT shows something yellow)
S2: It’s red.
Chant: What color is it? Red, red, it’s red.
What color is it? Yellow, yellow, it’s yellow.

Through a game, the teacher leads students to read and learn the new sentences. <3> Color time
Color your own robot with your favorite colors, then finish the dialogue on the PPT.
4.听音感知:Listen to the tape and try to answer “What color is the robot”.
5.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape.
8.角色朗读:Read the dialogue in different ways with your partners.
9.留白处理:Try to fill in the blanks. Recite the whole dialogue together.
