1.课程标准的相关要求

（1）培养学生热爱生活、热爱家园的美好情操；

（2）注意观察、比较，积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务；

（3）了解中西住宅文化差异。

2.教材分析

通过一幅客厅图画以及Sarah 和Mike参观张鹏家客厅时的情景对话，呈现了核心句型There are...其目的在于让学生掌握There be 句型的用法。让学生参与房间的设计，进行语言实践，从而掌握所学内容，学会描述房间，拓展学生语言的抽象思维。

3.学情分析：

本单元的教学主题与学生的实际生活紧密相连，因此学生还是很有兴趣的。尤其是设计自己房间并描述它，学生更会有浓厚兴趣。教材的安排直观、形象，利于儿童接受。但由于五年级学生第一次接触到There be 句型，在描述房间时会有一些难度，学生要面对单复数正确运用的问题。因此在教学本课时，通过设计“找不同”、“说说自己房间”、“表演对话”等活动，让学生不断练习和运用There be句型，在活动中潜移默化地运用了新句型。

【课时目标】：

1、能听、说、认读单词“grandparent”,“their”,“house”,“lot”,“flower”和词组“lots of”。

2、掌握There be 句型复数形式的运用。

3、能综合运用方位介词和There be句型描述房间内物体的位置。

4、提高学生用英语进行交际的能力，激发学生参与课堂活动的热情。

【教学过程】：

一、Warm up 1.Enjoy a song: 2.Free talk T: Good morning,children. How are you today? Ss:I’m fine,thank you. T:What’s the weather like today? What day is it today? Ss:Today is .... T:What’s in the classroom? Ss:There is a blackboard,some desks and chairs.... T:Where is the blackboard? Ss:It’s ... 【设计意图：让学生在熟悉的环境中跟老师轻松的交谈，轻松地进入英语氛围中本环节复习There is 句型，为下一步教学新句型There are 句型做好铺垫。】

二、新课呈现 (Presentation) B. Let’s talk.

1、第一次播放对话录音，回答问题。

T：What are they talking about? Ss:They are talking about Zhang Peng’s living room. T:Yes.Zhang Peng, Mike and Sarah are talking together. They’re

talking about Zhang Peng’s living room. Let’s go and see and then try to answer some questions.

2、第二次播放对话卡通片，学生根据对话内容回答问题。

(1) Are there any pictures in Zhang Peng’s living room？

(2) Who draws the pictures? (3) Whose plants are they? (4) Where is the garden? Answers:

(1) Yes, there are. (2) Zhang Peng’s father. (3 ) They’ re Zhang Peng’s grandmother’s plant. (4)

It’s in front of the house. 【设计意图：本环节学生刚接触新对话，目的是让学生先感知新对话，对对话内容有一个初步的理解。】

3.Read the dialogue by yourself and circle the new words or difficulties for you.(自读对话，画出生词或难点。) 4.Discuss in group about the new words or difficulties and try to solve them.(组内讨论，尝试解决难点。) 【设计意图：老教育家叶圣陶先生说过：“教是为了不教”。因此应把传授知识和培养能力作为自己的教学目的，培养学生做知识的主人，采取有效的方法帮助学生学习。本环节是让学生有意识地自己去发现问题，解决问题，培养学生自学能力和积极动脑的好习惯。】

5.教学新单词。

师生对话

T: Who are father’s (mother’s ) father and mother?

Ss: They’re grandparents. 教学新词grandparents. (2) 参观祖父母的家。

T:（出示一间房子）Let’s visit my grandparents’ house. Look, it’s their house. What’s in front of the house? They’re flowers. They’re lots of flowers. (3)

教师将新词（组）写在黑板上，带领全班学生读几遍。 grandparents, their, house, lots of （设计意图：用已知引入未知，在情景中引入单词，学生更容易理解。）

6.第三次播放教学录音，全班学生跟着录音读对话。

7.分角色朗读对话。

8.Look at the picture.What are in the living room? Try to use “There be”to say some sentences.（学生用There be说句子。）

9.(看图片): T: Where are the dogs? S:They are beside the chair. 10.Look at another room.This is a bedroom.What’s in the bedroom? (学生用There be说句子。） 11. 教师出示几个句子让学生比较。

There is a big bed. There is a nice photo. There are so many pictures here. There are so many plants, too. 教师总结：在There be 句型中，be动词的单复数由紧跟在动词后面名词的单复数决定。 12. Let’s act out the dialogue:学生三人一组戴上人物头饰在小组内练习表演对话，教师提醒学生在表演时注意运用恰当的表情和动作，然后请三组学生上讲台表演对话，并评选出“最佳表演组”。

三．操练（practice）

T:Look at the two pictures.There are some differences in two pictures. Can you find out?

(学生用There be句型描述两个房间的不同。 ) 四、巩固延伸 (Consolidation & Extension)

Pair work: 用There be句型和方位介词相互说一说自己房间内物体的位置。

【设计意图：通过小组合作，培养学生学会与他人相处，学会交流和沟通，共同完成学习任务。在交流中，学生的口语能力得到很大提高，也培养了学生综合语言运用能力。在表演对话中结束了这节课，学生自信满满，收获满满。】

四、课堂小结 (Summary)

师生一起总结本节课学习的词汇和句型，学生说说自己的收获以及还有什么不懂的地方。
