教材分析：

本节课出自PEP五年级上册第4单元What can you do ?Part C story time 。通过本故事的学习巩固句型：What can you do ? I can …. Can you …? Yes I can . No , I can’t .以及多个动词和词组.在老师的帮助下，通过对上下文的阅读，理解：Don’t throw me into the lake ., please . Silly snake ！学习这一故事的目的是让学生再阅读中进一步复习和巩固本单元的知识，并有效拓展。

教学目标：

词汇：rat , snake , tasty , lake , throw , 2.

句型：

What can you do ? I can …. Can you …? Yes , I can . No , I can’t . There is a ….. Don’ t throw me into ….. I can do things for you . 3.

能力目标：

理解和带感情的朗读课文；在老师的帮助下能创造类似的故事。

教学重点：

在相对真实的语境中理解，体验语言；朗读时注意语音和语调，语气尽量真实。

教学难点：

在图片，玩具和情景的帮助下，引导学生理解故事。

教学过程：

Step 1.warm-up

Play a game : put a rat in the hand .Let students guess :Is it in the right hand or in the left hand ? 通过做游戏既能活跃课堂气氛，也能引出这节课的生词：rat. 强调a 的发音。

Step 2: Presentation

(A )结合图片，玩具与图片回答：Where is the rat ? 导出lake：用拼读熟悉的单词引出ake的读音，学生教读新词lake的读音。

（B）听过图片引出句子There is a lake here。这一生句子。

（C）The rat is in the lake , because an animal throw it into the lake . 进而学习throw…into这一词组。通过师生用多种物品互动，加深对这一单词的理解和学习。之后齐读包含throw…into…的句子。老师强调生活常识：Don’t throw the food into your mouth . It’s dangers .最后学习rat说的句子：“Don’t throw me into the lake .”

(D)The rat says : “Don’t throw me into the lake .”现在咱们一起来听一篇有关rat的故事.Before listening to the story . Answer a question : “What are the animals in the story ?”

Step3: Understand the story

Open your book turn to page 45 .

and answer the questions :

(1) What can the snake see ? And how does the snake say ?

(2) How is the snake ? Is it full or hungry ?

(3)In picture 2 .When the snake catch the rat , how does the rat answer ? (4)Read the sentences about picture 3 and 4 answer : Can the rat swim ? Can the rat dance ? And sum up : “What can the rat do ?”

(5)Read picture 5,6 and answer : Can the rat swim ?And how do you know ? (6)Which sentences help the rat swim away the snake? Step 4 : Read the story

(1)Read after the flash 2 times

. (2) Read the story in the group : Girls are the snake . Boys are the rat . Then change

(3)Practice with the partners . (4) Personal display

in the class : Read the story in the role .Pay more attention to the pronunciation and intonation .

Step 5 : Consolidation and improvement (1)Add a title for the story
