教学目标： 1. 能正确的听、说、读单词： a pavement, a road, a zebra crossing, green man, red man, traffic lights 2. 初步感知运用日常交际用语You must \mustn’t„ you can\ can’t„ 3. 初步掌握文中出现的交通规则：You must first look for a zebra crossing and then look at the traffic lights. We must first look left, then right and then look left again. We mustn’t run and play on the road. etc 4. 理解，掌握课文内容，用正确的语音语调朗读课文。 三、教学重难点： 1. 能正确的听、说、读单词： a pavement, a road, a zebra crossing, green man, red man, traffic lights 2. 正确运用日常交际用语You must \mustn’t„ you can\ can’t„ 3. 能借助提示，完整的复述本课内容。 4.通过本课时的学习，让学生能够理解一些常见的交通规则，并能用英语进行表达及其描述。 四、教具准备： PPT 五、教学过程： Step1. Warm up & Lead in 1．Greetings. 2. Free talk T: How do you come to school? Ss: I come to school by bus\ car\ bike\ on foot…. T: I see. You use different traffic tools to come to school. I think road safety is the most important for us. (Learn the topic: Road safety ) S: Yes. T: Let’s learn Unit 4 Road safety

（设计意图：通过与学生的自由交谈，消除学生的课前紧张感，同时导入到本节课的课题Road safety。）

Step2. Presentation 1、 Learn the new words。（PPT动画展示） T: Boys and girls, what can you see on the road? Ss: I can see „(交通灯，斑马线， green man, red man „) 2、Show the pictures about them and learn the new words. （pavement , road , zebra crossing, green man, red man, traffic lights）

3、Learn the wordsin different ways。

（设计意图：通过设计的动画来进行马路上标识的新单词的教授，简单、形象，学生容易接受）

T: A policeman will give you a lesson about road safety today. He’ll give you two questions. Watch the video and try to understand the questions. ⑴

Compare two pictures. How can you cross the road safely? (设计意图：通过整体感知语篇，让学生知道过马路的方式，同时又将课文再次分成几个小部分，让学生通过问题的解决来进一步了解课文内容。) ①Listen and fill ②Read and fill Read for details of the text. Have students read the text by themselves and fill in the blanks after reading without looking at the text. （设计意图：让学生自己进行阅读课文，完成练习。培养学生读、写能力，训练学生阅读的能力。）

（设计意图：出示课文图片，创设当警察的情境，让学生用所学的语言进行有目的的操练。）

Step 4: Consolidation and extension T: You can finish two tasks well, how about the third one? Make a video of road safety and help people know more about traffic rules. Ask students to discuss with group members: Make a video with the teacher （设计意图：通过有趣的录像制作，既能提高学生的学习兴趣，又能培养学生的小组合作的
