本单元的主题内容是the farm,这一单元主要学习farm里面的动物们。学生在之前已经学习了动物的词汇:hen, cat, dog, duck等;句型They are... 来描述动物;There is/are来表达动物的数量,在本单元的学习中,让学生通过对单词的背诵、识记,了解名词加复数形式,学会用Wh- question句型提问动物,并作简单描述。第一课时主

要整合了Look and learn和Look and say板块,学生能简单询问动物,学习表达动物的单词;第二课时在第一课时的基础上整合Ask and answer和

Play a game板块,学生能描述动物的特征,结合学过描写性的单词,让学生能够用这些形容词单词介绍动物;第三课时在前两课时的基础上整合Say and act,学生能介绍不同动物的形态,能够做的事情和喜好,以及通过课文情景设置的农场参观,表达对于动物喜爱之情。第四课Look and learn, Look and say结合农场参观的主题,让学生能够按照一定的顺序介绍自己看到的动物。因此,教师将本单元主题On the farm分为Animals on the farm,The quantity of animals,A visit to the farm,学生将在这四课时的学习后学会如何介绍动物。

教学目标设定

【单元目标】

知识与技能

(1)掌握描述动物的单词Cows, sheep, pigs, hens, ducks, chicks, cats, dogs (2)元音字母a/æ/,e/e/,i/ɪ/,o/ɒ/,u/ʌ/,的发音。

(3)能够简单动物情况。

(4)能够询问不同的动物,动物的叫声,动物的喜好和动物的习性。

(5)能够在情景中运用句型,如:What are they..? How many…?并作答。

(6)能在情景中恰当运用句型Count the…祈使句描述指令的情况。 (7)

能够按照学过的单词读诗歌、理解短文内容并完成句子仿写活动。

(8)能在创设的情景中运用新学单词和句型介绍动物。 

文化与情感

(1)情感态度:注重培养学生对动物的观察和习性的了解,然他们通过学习爱护动物。

(2)文化目标:能运用学过的英语单词和句型,向他人介绍常见的动物和家禽,并结合自己喜欢的动物,观察它们的习性和喜好做深入的描写。

通过语境的设置,让学生参观农场,选定农场中的动物,让学生通过听声、猜图、等多种方式来介绍已经学过的动物,加深对本单元知识的巩固。
