课题My classmates 一、教学目标（Teaching Aims）: Ⅰ. 知识目标（Knowledge）: Aims on the knowledge

(1) Learn to describe our classmates.

(2) Learn the key structure “I like her/him because she/he is…”.

Ⅱ. 能力目标（Ability）：Aim on the abilities (1)

Use the sentence “I like her/him because she/he is…” to talk about our classmates. (2)

Train the students’ abilities of speaking.

Develop students’ interest in English.

PPT、Picture、Word Cards、I-book. 四、教学过程（Teaching Process）

Step1.Greeting:

Let one student do duty report, and after finishing speaking, ask some questions about the duty report. Step2. Review the words and sentences.

① Kind, helpful, friendly, funny, polite, and clever. Show some pictures, and ask “how is she? /how is he?”.

She is kind. He is clever.

② Read the words and sentences one by one. Step3. Learn the key structure “I like her/him because she/he is…”

Watch two videos, and show the two sentences: I like her because she is kind./ I like him because he is helpful. ②

Use their own pictures to talk about our classmate, and teach the new sentences “I like her/him because she/he is…”.

Imitation show: use some funny voice to practice reading the sentences. Step4. Practice

Give two sentences, and let students use “because” to link the sentences.

I like Sunny. She is kind.

→ I like Sunny because she is kind.

Step5. Group Works:

Four people a team. Take turns talking about our classmates in our class. Everyone should use the sentences “This is_____. I like her/him because she/he is…”.

Step6. Homework

Do more difficult task:

A: Who is she/he?

B: She/He is_______.

A: How is she/he?

B: She/He is_______.

A: Do you like her/him?

B: Yes, I do.

A: Why?

B: I like her/him because she/he is________.
