Greet the students and use the experience and a picture of mine to show the students three sentences: I have been teaching English for 11 years. I have been teaching English since I was 23 years old. I have been teaching English since 2007. Make the students pay attention to the verb tense of sentences. In this way can lead in the structure of the present perfect continuous tense. (Justification: students can review the defferent forms of the present perfect continuous tense.) Step 2 Presentation (10 mins) Use time line to explain the meaning of the sentences about the present perfect continuous tense, and then conclude the meaning of this verb tense. (Justification: students can know and better understand the meaning of the present perfect continuous tense.) Step3 practice Activity 1:

making sentences according to the key words. (group work and then rush to answer) (5mins) 1.

all the time Activity2：let the students summarize the time adverbial of the sentences in the activity 1. Show the students that the present perfect continuous tense refers to the duration of time, so we can use “how long” to ask questions about this verb tense. Then make the students practice it.

(8mins) Make every group to select one Chinese sentences and translate them into English by using the present prefect continuous tense (Justification: help the students master the present prefect continuous tense and deepen their understanding of this grammar point) Step 4: summary and homework (3mins) Summary: using a small game to show how to use this grammar point in sentences. Homework: write a letter to your parents, including sentences with the present perfect continuous tense.
