Step 1: Warm up

1.Miss He is going to the zoo in this weekend. Do you want to go with Miss He?If you are active in this lesson, you can go and be Miss He’s commentator.

Step 2: Presentation and practice

1.Teach the word “giraffe”: watch the video, try to find out what animals are at the zoo?(Giraffe and bear)

2.Teach the sentence structure “Look at that… It’s (so)…and tall.” : watch the video again and try to answer the question: Look at that giraffe. It’s…(Wow, it’s so tall.) T says: I like it.

3.Teach the word “short”: show the picture of a baby giraffe and a mother giraffe, the mother giraffe is so tall, but the baby one is short.
