Step 1 Lead-in The teacher starts the lesson with a short video about the Olympics and let students talk about their impressions. Step 2 Quiz A quiz about the Olympics. Step 3 Learn new words and expressions

Step 4 Fast reading Raise four questions from the reading passage, ask students read it quickly to find out the answers directly. Step 5 Careful reading Check students understanding of the structure of the passage. Step 6 Summary Fill in the blanks according to the content of the passage. Step 7 Topic discussion Show students one topic related to the athletes, ask them to discuss in groups to share their ideas. Step 7 Homework 1.Finish Part E on page 25. 2.Read more articles about sports on page102-103.
