say“Welcome to our school !” Now, shall we show them around our school? Look, here

are some pictures of our school. Let’s have a look.

T: Look, this is our Manual of civilization. This is our school. It is clean and beautiful. Everyday, we have lunch in the big dinning hall. We study in the big and clean classroom. We read books in the bright library. There are two parking lots for teachers. It’s very convenient. This is our school. Is it beautiful? Do you love it? Yes, we should love our school. We should be civilized student.

6. T: What do the signs mean? 学习单词mean，句型What do the signs mean? Please learn by yourselves, read the story in pairs, try to underline the key sentences. Then discuss, find out the answer of ‘What do the signs mean?’ Here are some new words in the story, you can help each other, or ask me for help. (1)带着问题朗读课文，划出重点线索。

(2)小组讨论，解决问题。What do the signs mean? (3)通过上下文，图片、同伴互助等方式，学习文中其它的生词。

(跟读，板书) T: What can we do? We can put rubbish in the bin.

(Part 3) T: There’s the bookshop. Helen wants to go in. Can Helen take her juice into the shop? How do you know? Mike says: You can’t take your juice into the shop. （教take…into…）

Why can’t Helen take her juice into the shop?

S: There’s a sign. No eating or drinking. （PPT出示标志“No eating or drinking.”）

T: What does it mean?

S: It means you can’t eat or drink here.（PPT出示划线）

(Part 4) T: Where are they now?

What are they doing? S: They are eating some noodles.

S :It means you can’t smoke here.（PPT出示划线）
