1.能够在图片的帮助下读懂故事，在语境中理解新词：surprise,candles 的意思。

2.能以模仿的方式表演小故事。

教学重点：

1、巩固学习本单元的主要句型和词汇。

2、培养学生的阅读能力和会话表演的能力。

教学难点：

能够在有意义的语境中正确运用句子：Surprise! There’s… I see so many…Let’s eat the…

教学准备：教学VCD, PPT课件, 头饰

教学过程：

Step1: Pre-task. 1. Greetings. 2. Game: Fast read. (Review the words about the food, stationeries and animals.)

Step2: While-task. 1. Present the task: Show a picture about Bobby’s birthday.

T: Look, this is my friend Bobby. Teach the new sentences: There’s…

(Read one by one, then make sentences.)

T: Today is his birthday. ( Let Ss say “Happy birthday”

to Bobby.) Bobby is very happy because he has a birthday party. Can you tell me: What can you see in Bobby’s party? 2. Ss talk about the picture: I see…

3. Present the numbers from1 to 5.

T: How many…s? ( Count with Ss) Show out the phrases: 1 birthday cake, 2 flowers, 3 candles ( teach the word “candles”), 4 apples, 5 gifts. 4. Game: Jumping game. 5. Game: How many fingers? 6. Pair work:

A: How many…s?

B:_________ 7. Present the numbers from 6 to 10.

T: I see so many gifts. ( Read sentences: I see so many…) How many gifts does Bobby have? (5) What are they? Guess!

Ss guess and say. Then PPT show out the gifts, pesent the phrases: 6 books, 7 rulers, 8 pencils, 9 pens, 10 crayons. 8. Group work: (Talk about the gifts)
