教学内容：人教精通版小学英语四年级上册《Unit 1 Welcome to my new home. Lesson 3》

学情分析：四年级学生有着极强的求知欲和表现欲，由于年龄小，又加上生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此，在设计课堂教学活动时，一定要根据学生的情况，采用灵活多样的教学方法，来吸引学生的注意，努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励学生开口说英语，特别是给后进生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。课外，我尝试改变形式单一乏味、机械练习较多的英语作业布置形式，而以趣味性、贴近生活的英语课外作业布置。总之，现在的四年级学生，对英语的学习热情较高，可塑性较强，只要在教学中，教师加强对学生的学法引导和学习习惯的培养，学生的英语学习一定会取得很大的进步。

教学目标：

知识目标：能够在此话题的相关语境中听、说、认读下列词汇：kitchen,fridge,table,bed. 能够根据听到的单词识别、指认图片、模型或实物；能够在以下表达描述、询问、喜欢的功能句中运用所学的词汇以听说读的形式进行简单的交流：There is… There are…

能力目标：能够初步了解并乐于采用一些记忆词汇的方法和技巧，能够运用所学词汇和功能语句在真实的情景中正确使用。

情感态度价值观目标：能够懂得爱学习，会表达自己家的物品，并会向别人表达描述，逐步形成乐于分享、学会分享和善良的良好的个性品格。

教学重点：三会单词：kitchen,fridge 四会单词：bed,table 三会句子：Look at the kitchen.There is a new fridge. 教学难点：如何准确描述自己的家，在向他人介绍自己家的时候能运用所学词汇以听、说、读的形式进行简单的交流。

教学过程：

Step 1: Warming-up. 1.

Say the chant together. Create an active environment and review the knowledge.

2.

Revise the words of Lesson 1 and Lesson 2. “bed, desk, sofa, armchair, TV, bedroom, living room, home.”

【Review the words and sentences the students have learned to help them learn a new lesson.】

3.

Revise the sentence pattern: “What’s in the bedroom? There is a new bed. What’s in the living room? There is an armchair and a sofa.”

Step 2: Presentation. 1.

Learn the new word “kitchen, table”. a.

Show the picture of kitchen and table. b.

Practise the sentence pattern: “Go into the kitchen.What’s in the kitchen? There is a table.”

【Make students curious about the new word and help them remember “kitchen” better by learning pronunciation.】

Learn the new word “fridge”.

a. Show the picture of fridge. b.Practise the sentence pattern: “What’s in the kitchen? There is a fridge.

Look at the kitchen, Kate. Wow! There is a new fridge.”

【Show the new words in different ways. Help students remember “fridge”

better and make the class interesting. Let students practise the new sentences at the same time.】

3. Play a game of words. 4. Look at the screen and read the key words and sentences again. 5. See a text flash. Listen to the recorder and read after it. Ask two students to read the text and then act the dialogue out.

【Show the new lesson. Let students learn how to read it by listening and reading, correcting their pronunciation. Make more interaction by pair work and let students practice the new sentences better.】

Step 3: Practice. 1.

Play a game of sentences.
