Teaching Process:

Step1 Warming up 1.Brain Storm. T: OK, I’ve already known some of you, you are very nice. Now we do a brain storm. (PPT) If you have a lot money, (money读得搞笑点) , what will you do? S1: I will buy a house for me. S2: I will go travelling around the world. T: Who will you take? S2: My parents. T: What about taking me too? S2: Er, That’s a good idea. (学生想了想，然后斩钉截铁说)

S3: I will buy a lot of iphone 8 for me and my parents. T: But your classmates don’t have any.

S3: I will buy one for my classmates too. T: What about me? S3: Buy one for you too.

T: You are so generous.

S4: I will help the poor people. T: That’s really kind of you. ( 面向全体学生) We should help poor people. Will you? T: OK, I have already known your ideas and please guess what I will do? (Students give different answers) T: OK, I tell you I will help poor people just like that boy and go to different countries. Do you want to go to different countries. (ss say yes) T: Good, but you have study English well now. You need English when travelling around the world.

2.Guessing Game T: As for countries, let’s do a guessing game about the name of the country. Please look at the screen and try to guess the name of the country according to the pictures and sentences. Are you clear? (Ss respond yes) T: OK, it’s not a big country.

T: People drive on the left side of the road.

(Students give different answers) T: People there speak English. (Students give different answers)

T: You will see lots of double-deck bus there. (Students give different answers) T: There is a famous old bridge.

T: Ok, let’s check the answer (PPT). It’s the UK. (Have students read the name together) T: (指着英国国旗)This is the national flag of the UK. (指着塔桥)Do you know what it is?

(SS gave the right answer: the Tower Bridge) T: OK, let’s guess another country’s name?

(Ask ss to look at the sentences below about that country and guess) •

hot at Christmas S1: America.

T: Why do you say that? S1: Because people there have Christmas and it’s a big country.

T: But it’s not hot at Christmas.

T: Ok, let’s look at the right answer

(Teacher shows the right answer: Australia) T: What do you know about Australia? S: ….(3-4个学生反馈他们对澳洲的了解) T: OK, I will tell you more about Australia. Look, this is the national flag of the UK. Do you know Australia is in the south of the earth or north? Ss: South. T: Good, you are so clever. That’s why that while it’s cold in China, it’s hot there. Now look at the national flag of Australia, which national flag also has a similar pattern?(指着澳洲国旗上跟英国国旗相同图片的部分) S: The UK. T: Do you know why?

S: I will. T:our friends will learn about a new country. What country will they learn about? Please watch the video and then answer the question. T: teach: learn about, find out.
