What’s the weather like教学设计

教学目标:

1.

积累描述天气的单词,学习用What’s the weather like in...?询问某地某季节的天气情况,了解各地的天气,并能简单表述天气状况,能运用已有语言描述在什么样的天气里能做什么样的事情。

2.

通过任务型活动,引导学生学会用语言表达事情,完成交际任务。

3.

通过了解各地气温的不同,使学生感受到祖国的幅员辽阔和四季之美,体会语言在情境中的正确运用。

教学内容重难点分析:

通过各种形式(听、说、读、写、画、游)让学生掌握并运用有关天气的词汇及日常交际用语。

教学过程:

Part1:Free talk and motivation 1.

T:Good morning, boys and girls

S:Good morning,Miss Liang. T:How are you today? Ss:I am fine,thanks.And you? T: I am fine,too. T: What day is it today? Ss:It’s.....

2.T:But do you know“What is the weather like today?”(point to the sky outside and repeat the sentence several times)

3.T: Look,what can you see(picture1) Part2 Presentation 1.Ss:I can see a sun. T:Yes,when there’s a sun in the sky,then we say it is sunny today(Picture 2) Ss read the word after the T several times. T:So what’s the weather like in the picture?

Ss:It is sunny.(T writes the word on the blackboard) T: Can you draw a picture about sunny?(let a S to draw)a picture on the blackboard) T:How about this picture?What can you see?(Picture 3) Ss:I can see a... Teach the rest words just as above. A game(to practice the new words ):While the teacher reads the word loudly,the students will read it wisperly,on the contrary,the teacher reads the word wisperly,the students will read loudly. 2.

T:(review the words)What’s the weather like?(point to the picture on the blackboard)

Student will guess the meaning of words:

It's hot. It's cold. It's sunny.

It's rainy. It's snowy. It's foggy. It's cloudy. It's windy. Practice sentences:(games)

(1)Count fingers:the teacher reads one sentence first and then stick out finger“one,two,three...”,students read the sentence according to figure number. (2)Group work:two students as a group,one does the action which can describe the weather and asks“What is the weather like?”,the other will guess what is the weather according to the action. 4.T: Now you are the weather reporters,ask and answer with your partners 5.Choose several pairs to act it out. Part 4.Consolidation 1.T:Look at these tools,what can you image?What will you think about?For example:an umbrella,when do we need an umbrella?When it’s rainy,we need an umbrella. 2.Work in pairs firstly,then act it out. 3.Finish the table 4.Work in pairs 5.Each student writes down two sentences,then read out to your partners.

Part 5 Homework Write the weather from Monday to Friday.
