Step 1 Revision and lead in

1.ask students the following questions

Have you had breakfast? Have you finished your homework? Have you seen the film? Then ask ss to tell the tense and the form of the tense. Conclusion: the present perfect tense Have/has +done •

You are listening. •

I am teaching now. •

The boy is taking the notes. •

The girl is reading the text. Conclusion: the present continuous tense be +doing If we combine the two forms ,what form can we get? Have/has been doing the present perfect continuous tense Step 2grammar learning 1.

Task1: Fast-reading Get ss to work in pairs and revise the three sentence structures of the tense and give more examples. I have been working.

Tony has been sleeping I haven’t been watering the flowers for a week.

Deduction :look at the picture of mine and use the timeline to show the basic usage of the tense.

I started teaching English in 2002. I am still teaching now. I have been teaching English since 2002/for 16 years. Show more pictures and get ss to make sentences using the tense and then summarize the four pieces of usages of the tense.

1)动作发生在过去，一直延续到现在，并且还将持续下去。经常与“for+段时间”或“since+点时间/从句"的时间状语连用. 2).叙述从过去某时开始一直继续到现在，但不再继续下去的事情。带有浓厚的感情色彩，强调持续了“那么久”或做得“那么辛苦”。

Eg.She has been sweeping the street all the morning.

3)叙述“最近”一直从事的工作或活动。－－lately, recently Eg.He has been playing computer recently.

4)叙述从过去某时到现在，或最近，一再重复的动作。

Eg. Mr. Wolf, what have you been busy with these days?

Call 9 students to write the answers on the blackboard and correct them together. Task3: Production 1.Use the present perfect continuous tense to make a dialogue. Keven: What’s the matter? Say you, say me. Say anything about you, your hobbies, your new habits, your family, your hometown and your dream etc. First give the class an example: I have been showing great interest in reading since I went to school. I have been learning English since 2002. Since my graduation, I have been teaching in a senior high school, where I have been trying my best to help the students to achieve their dreams. Recently I have been working out regularly to keep fit and become slim. Then give ss two minutes to practice in groups and then present

in the whole class. Task4: summary The past is a history; the future is a mystery; the present is a gift. Only if we grasp the present and perform like “the present perfect continuous” on the way to success, can we turn the mysteries into great achievements! Task5: end let's enjoy a song named Way Back Into Love

which contains many structures of the present perfect continuous tense.
