This passage tells us the preparation course of a feast about the primitive people. Though this is an imaginative story, we can learn the everyday life of the ancient people, as well as their lifestyle and the food they lived on. By learning this passage, Ss can learn more about the history and it also can stimulate their desire to explore the past.

Our Ss are usually poor in the basic knowledge of English, who show few interests in learning English. So I desire a guessing game and group works to arouse their interests and offer them necessary guides to improve their reading ability. 三．三维目标
