类似用法的还有whichever, whatever, whenever, whomever等。

注意：

1. wh—ever形式引导让步状语从句时,表示无论，相当于no matter wh疑问词的形式，如：whatever you say, I won't believe you.无论你说什么,我都不会相信你. = no matter what you say, I won't believe you. wherever you go, I will go with you.无论你去哪,我都跟你去

=no matte where you go, I will go with you.

里的whatever you say,或者wherever you go都是表示无论.的让步状语,并且是让步状语从句.

2 . wh—ever形式引导名词性从句,此时不可用no matter wh疑问词的形式.比如说主语从句,宾语从句,表语从句等.

如：

I will do whatever you told me to do. 你让我做什么我就作什么

(在这里whatever you told me to do.是有whatever引导的宾语从句,整体作do（第一个do）的宾语.)

hatever she said is not reliable.她说的话是靠不住的. (whatever she said是whatever引导的一个主语从句,整体在句中作主语. ) （师生展示反馈，学生练习巩固）
