Seeing the doctor 教学设计

教学目标：

1.知识能力目标：能听、说、读、写：What’s the matter? I have a stomachache.并能在实际中运用。能听、说、读、写核心词汇：stomachache, headache, have a fever, have a cold. 2.能力目标：在学习过程中，激发学生的积极思维，挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力，培养学生的交际及灵活运用知识的能力。

3.情感目标：培养学生关心他人，友爱互助，珍爱健康的良好品质。

学情分析：

本课的教学对象是六年级的学生，年龄大约在12~13岁，他们好奇心强，活泼好动。学生已经有了三年的英语学习经验，有较扎实的英语基础，具备了一定的动口和动手能力，-但他们的语用能力还有待进一步提高。

教学重、难点：

重点：掌握What’s the matter? I have a stomachache.

难点:单词的读音，句子的书写，尤其是对核心词汇的掌握。

教学过程：

Step Ⅰ

Lead in T:Good morning,boys and girls.

S:Good morning,teacher. T:OK.Sit down,please.

Hello,how are you doing today? S:I feel happy. T:What about you? S:I feel excited. T:How are you doing today? S:I feel ... T:OK.Can you ask me? S:How are you doing today? T:I feel happy.Beacuse we will have an English class together.Are you ready? S:Yes! （设计意图：本环节通过Free talk来复习上节课所学内容，自然导入课堂，为知识衔接做准备。）

Step Ⅱ

Presentation and Practice T:Well,today we have a new friend.Do you know him? S:Yes,he is Pedro. T:He looks terrible .Let’s see a cartoon about him then tell me what’s the matter with him? S:See a cartoon. T:Who can try?

S:He is ill. T:Good.He is ill.Let’s take him to see the doctor,OK? S:OK! T:Today,we are going to learn Unit 2 Seeing the doctor.

Now,Pedro is in the hospital.The doctor is asking him.Who can be the doctor? S:Me.What’s the matter? T:Great!Can you try to answer? S:I have a cold. T:Good.Have a cold.（板书）If we have a cold.We often have a running nose,right? S:Yes. T:（手持图片）What’s the matter? S:I have a cold.（拿图片提问2-3个学生）

T:（对话后）Take some medicine. S:Thank you. （重复一遍后，将卡片和药瓶交给学生，操练两组）

T:OK。After taking medicine.Pedro is better now.He meet three friends.They are in Room A\B\C.He wants to visit them.Do you want to go with him? S:Yes. T:OK.Choose a room,please.

（学生选择房间。通过Pedro探望朋友，讲解have a fever,stomachache,headache,并操练句型）

（设计意图：此处通过观看动画片和探望朋友，讲授本课重点短语和句子。利用学生喜欢的卡通形象引出所学知识，吸引学生的注意力，激发学生的学习兴趣。探望朋友的过程就是学习的过程，学生在找朋友的同时学习了知识，达到了寓教于乐的目的。）

T:OK.You did a good job.Now,let’s have a match.G1,G2 and G3,choose a picture and make a dialog.I will give you a pill.Who wants a pill? （设计意图：学生选图片做对话，参与PPT操作。增强学生在课堂上的参与感，避免学生产生枯燥乏味的感觉。调动学生参与活动，体现以学生为主体的教育思想。操练对话赢得药丸。视频11分42秒处呈现）

T:Well done.Let’s have a chant about what’s the matter. S:Have a chant.（视频15’46”）

T:Good job.Now look at the picture.David is ill.Listen and tell me what’s the matter. S:He has a stomachache. T:Yes.His mother takes him to the doctor.Read the dialog and find what’s the doctor’s advice. S:Take some medicine and rest well. T:OK.Do you have any advice.What’s your advice? S:提出自己的建议

T:You’re so caring.Now,read the dialog after the tape. （学生跟读课文，分角色读课文）

T:Very good.Now,imagine you’re a doctor or a patient.Let’s act.Who wants to be the doctor?Patient?（视频25’28”）

（学生分角色表演，操练所学内容。2-3组）

（设计意图：学生通过听、读、演来逐步感知和理解课文。听音问题的设计主要在于发散学生思维，促进学生思考和语言运用能力。Cosplay环节主旨在于帮助学生将课本知识与实际生活充分衔接，将抽象的知识化为具体的生活，便于学生理解和掌握。）

T:You’re so careful.We have learnt so much today.I want to tell you health is very important for you.Eat healthy food and do more exercise.I hope youcan keep healthy.I have a song for you. T:OK.Let’s count the pills.（总结各组获得奖励数，得出冠军）
