Using LanguageⅡ优秀教学设计

教学目标：

1.

知识目标：掌握本单元所要求的单词、词组、句型以及实用的重点句子。尤其是关于求职的一些词汇（如competence, personnel, practical 等）

2.

能力目标：培养学生应用英语进行以面试为主题的简单对话和交际的能力，能够分角色进行面试场景的表演，并且能参照面试过程写一封简短的求职信。

3.

情感目标：通过参与面试和写求职信，让学生对于找工作有一个正确的认识。并且结合现实情况，让学生充分利用在校时间，认真学习，实现自己的人生价值。

教学重点：

掌握面试对话中面试者提问和应试者回答的实用句子以及如何写申请信。

教学难点：

要求学生选择有兴趣的岗位进行面试，并且模仿所给的求职信，套用常用句型，写一封求职信。

教学方法：

听说教学法、分组教学法、任务教学法、情景教学法

教学过程设计：

Step1: lead-in 1.remind Ss of the listening practice done in the last period 2.watch the movie clip, which shows a job interview, and ask Ss what is the clip about and then show them some practical expressions.

Step2: job interviews 1.show Ss some ads for recruitment and let each group to choose one position and prepare a job interview, in which 1 interviewer and 3 interviewees take part. 2.give Ss some useful expressions for job interviews. 3.ask 3 groups to act out the interview and give them marks according to the criteria. Step3: application letters 1.ask Ss to read the application letter on P26 and do some reading comprehension, which is about the outline of the application letter 2. give Ss some useful expressions for application letters. 3. every Ss choose one position and read his/her application letter to the whole class and give them marks according to the criteria.

Homework: polish your application letter.
