【教材分析】

语言功能：说明过去的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

语言结构：They weren’t …then. They were …. She /It wasn’t …then. She/It was….

教学目标：

a.知识目标：能听懂并说出单词：grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful 和功能句：They weren’t old then. They were very young. She wasn’t tall then. She was short. It wasn’t clean then. It was dirty. b.技能目标：能灵活运用功能句，并能说明某人或某物过去的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

c.情感目标

通过多种多样的教学方法，使学生保持持久的学习兴趣，勇于创新。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主劝请教。

教学重、难点：

重点：能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

难点：能准确的读出“wasn’t, weren’t”并能正确的运用。

教学方法：

基于对教学理念、教材分析、学生分析、教学目标、重难点的分析，我采用了以下教学方法：

1.任务型教学方法。

2.图片展示法。

3.视听法。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming-up 1.

Greetings 2.

Let’s game. 2. Sing a chant. T：Can you sing a chant? Ss: Yes. T: Now, let’s sing together.

Step 2 Revision and leading-in 1.look,match and say. 2.抢答说出一些形容词，并说说它的反义词。

big -–small, old- young, fat-thin, short- long/ tall

3.出示图片，运用形容词说说图片。

T:（出示课件）who’he? S: He’s Yaoming.（图1和图3上有then, 图2和图4上有now）,复习句型“He was fat then.,but He is thin now.” They were young then.,but they are old now. 4.运用形容词和now、then进行操练。

5.教师提问，通过对话引出否定式wasn’t和 weren’t：

T: This is a cat, but it isn’t a fish. T: They are boys,but they aren’t girls. T: Was she tall then? （S:No,She was short.）T接着说（Yes,She wasn’t tall. Say follow me）

T:Were you old then?（S:NO , We were young.）T接着说（Yes, You weren’t old. Say follow me）

T: You did good job. Today we will learn Module5 Unit 2《They were young》。

1.教师指导学生并检查自读课文情况，让学生划出带有动词be否定句。

They weren’t old then. She wasn’t tall then. It wasn’t clean then. 2.纠正并领读几个否定式的读法，wasn’t, weren’t。

3.教师提示学生对照教材图片理解课文，教师讲解课文，画出要求背诵的句子。

4.听录音学生跟读课文。

5.分组朗读重点句子。

Step 3 Summary. Do you learn in this lesson? Homework：

1．读熟课文。

2．背诵重点句。

3.回家找出一张过去的全家福，用wasn’t/ weren’t描述一下家人过去的样子.再用am/is/are描述一下家人现在的样子。
