【教学目标】

知识与技能：

1、能在教师的指导下听懂、理解并朗读这篇关于Halloween的短文，并完成3b和3c的练习。

2、能听懂、会说以下短语：dress up ，go from house to house ，ring the doorbell，call out，give the children a treat，play a trick ，come back ，run away ，Trick or treat. 3、了解英语日期的书写方法和表达方法。

4、通过学习知道有关万圣节的相关习俗，了解中西方文化的差异。

5、尝试用英语介绍自己喜欢的节日。

过程与方法：

通过图片、视频片段，帮助学生理解短语，并尝试运用这些短语复述短文。

情感态度与价值观：了解万圣节在西方文化中的重要性。

学习策略：

1、积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。增强小组间的积极竞争意识。体验小组合作成功的乐趣。

2、通过所学词汇和句子猜测文本隐含的意思，在词语与相应事物之间建立联想。

3、在课堂交流中，注意倾听，积极思考，学会做笔记，善于从文中寻找关键信息，完成练习。

【教学重点】

1、能在教师的指导下听懂、理解并朗读这篇关于Halloween的短文，并完成3b和3c的练习，学会一定的阅读技巧。

2、能根据教师的板书复述短文。

【教学难点】

1、理解3b的问题，并做出正确的答案。

2、能尝试用所学的语言谈论自己喜欢的节日。

学情分析

这一届六年级的学生，基础相对较差，很大一部分学生对英语失去信心，在我接手这个六年级之初，课堂上很少看到师生间的互动场景，我总会感觉自己在唱独角戏。六年级教学内容更加丰富，难度相当五年级有了很大飞跃，主要以文本为主。如何让学生真正融入课堂，充分发挥每个孩子的能动性，让他们在课堂上动起来，成为我要攻克的难关。很大一部分孩子不能在课堂上参与，其根本原因不是他们不想，而是他们不会，小组合作很好实现了强带弱、弱争强的良好课堂学习模式。当然，小组建设也是一个很花心思的过程，在这里我就不一一赘述了。本节课，也是以小组活动为学生基本学习活动的阅读课。在本节课中，我上的课题是Unit3 中3a,3b,3c部分。

为了解决本课的教学重难点,我进行了如下设计：

引入部分

开课之初，先简要复习学生已经学过的节日，学生选择自己最喜欢的节日，并说明原因。让学生形成用英语思维的语用习惯。接下来，一首欢快的Halloween song将学生引入本课主题——Halloween。然后，学生相互分享收集的有关万圣节的有关知识。教师简要介绍万圣节的相关知识。

学习文本

分为以下几个步骤：

初读文本，学生分组在课本上划出生词。

学生学习新词，分组认读新单词。

再读文本。学生带着3个简单的问题看课件图片的提示，听文本内容，尝试回答：

When is Halloween? Which countries celebrate Halloween ? How do the children dress up ？

精读文本第一段。听-读回答：

What do the children do then？

What do they say when the door opens ？

根据学生的回答，板书关键短语：

Go from house to house Ring the doorbell Call out “ Trick or treat ”

学生根据提示尝试复述第一段。

精读第二段内容：

听-跟读，分组讨论，完成表格

预设一：学生能够回答，顺势分析people的两种情况。

预设二：学生不能够回答，小组活动，讨论并完成表格。

根据提示图片，完成表格内容。出示动词短语

Play a trick Come back Ring the doorbell again Run away 课堂操练学生自由读短文，听短文，完成相关的操练练习。通过练习，加深对文本的理解，并能在关键词的提示下完成短文的复述。

Step 2 Presentation 1、Teach the title ：

T: Let’s listen to a song. What Festival is it about? Festival.出示课题Unit 3 Festivals ，we’ll learn Part3 Halloween （教师板书：Unit3 Festivals Halloween ）

读Halloween，指名读，分组读，齐读. 2、文化知识渗透

T: What do you know about Halloween ？Work in groups. Share your collection about Halloween. 预设一：学生读自己收集到的有关万圣节的资料。

预设二：展示学生收集到的相关知识及关键词。

万圣夜（Halloween，为“AllHallowEve”的缩写）在每年的10月31日，是指万圣节（AllHallow'sDay）的前夜，类似于圣诞夜被称为“Christmas Eve”，西方传统节日，英文名称是：All Saints' Day，是英语世界的传统节日，主要流行于英语使用区，如北美和不列颠群岛、其次是澳大利亚和新西兰。当晚小孩会穿上化妆服，戴上面具，挨家挨户收集榶果。

T：Halloween is an important festival in Britain and the USA .It stmeans “

holy evening”

,and it comes every October 31 ，W e can call it “ The Eve All Saints’Day”

3、Listen read and answer T: Boys and girls ，let’s open your books, turn to page 22, we’ll listen and try to answer the questions . Answer the questions ：

T: When is Halloween? Ss: On 31 October. We should say ：Halloween is on the 31st of October. Halloween is October the 31st.(PPT 呈现句子，学生朗读并并做笔记。）

Britain and the USA .(PPT出现这两个国家的国旗。) ③How do the children dress up ？

The children dress up as witches ，monsters or ghosts . T: Let’s look up the word in word list, turn to page 70 ,What ’s meaning?

4、Intensive reading（精读）
