教学目标：

1、知识目标：（1）能听懂、会说一些简单的描述性形容词beautiful，big，funny，strong,

small ；（2）能掌握主要句型“Look at …”及“It’s…”；

2、能力目标：能运用形容词和动物的单词,结合句型“Look at …”及“It’s …” 准确的口头描述动物的特征。

3、情感目标：通过各种游戏活动激发学生的学习兴趣，渗透爱护动物思想教育。

4、教学重点：运用句型“Look at …”及“It’s …” 准确的描述动物及其特征。

5、教学难点：形容词“ beautiful、big、

funny、strong、small”的运用。

6、教学准备：单词卡片及动物头套、PPT 教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up 1、Greetings. 2、Let’s sing and dance. T: I’m very happy to see you today .So I want to sing a happy song with you.

3、T: Do you like animals ? Come on boys and girls, Let’s go to the zoo.

Step 2

Presentation and drill 1、Look, here is the zoo. There are so many animals. Listen (课件播放大象叫声) T: What is it? Can you guess? Ss: It’s an elephant.

T: Yes, it’s an elephant.(带读)

1.T:Look at this elephant! Big or small? Ss: It’s big.

运用动作表示big，教学big，同时教学词组a big elephant 并继续展示另一种动物——猴子。

2、T：Look !what’s this?

It’s a monkey.（教读，单个练读）

T: Look at this monkey.Is it big? Ss: No.

T: It’s funny 运用做鬼脸动作表示funny,教学funny，同时教学词组a funny monkey. 3、T：Look !what’s this?

It’s a tiger.（教读，单个练读）

T: Look at this tiger.Is it strong?

Ss:Yes.

运用动作表示strong,教学strong，词组a strong tiger 4、T: Look what is this?(出示课件，动作教学) It’s a bird.（bird，教读, 词组

a beautiful bird）

T: Is it beautiful?（肢体语言教学）

Ss: Yes. T:Yes, It’s beautiful . 5、板书课题：Unit 3
