Step II Before Reading Listen to the tape and find out what kind of career（职业，生涯）is best for them and give reasons. e.g. Shen Xiang should become because .

Step III While Reading Reading skills:“七步法”做阅读理解题

Step 1 用红笔画出每一段的第一句话；

Step 2 逐字阅读文章标题和小标题（如果有）与文章第一段的第一句话；

Step 3 仔细阅读文章第一段，猜测文章中心思想；

Step 4 逐字阅读每一段的第一句话和全文最后一段，确定文章主旨大意（ main idea ）; Step 5 仔细阅读题干，弄清题干意义并圈出最能表达题干意义的词或词组；

Step 6 快速阅读全文，在原文中找到与题干对应的关键词并标注，然后作答；

Key Words(关键词)——时间、大写的专有名词，如人名、地名、语言等等；

题干和原文相同或意思相近的词或词组。（同义转换．．．．

）

注：大多数阅读理解题的答案就在原文关键词的附近（越近越准确）。
