Teaching Plan of Unit 7 Working or Playing Step 1: Warm-up (3 mins)

a) Chant: What are they doing ?

b) Revision: review the words of Unit2

Step 2：Presentation( 29 mins)

Learn the new words: work/working; shout/shouting; think/thinking; talk/talking; color/coloring; exercise/exercising）（17mins）

a) Learn eight new words (work/working, shout/shouting, think/thinking, exercise/exercising) and review the sentence pattern of Unit2.

Play a game: Act and say

Ask two students to come to the platform. One do the action and

the other ask the whole class what’s he/she doing?

c) Learn the other eight new words (talk/ talking, color/ coloring, cut/ cutting, dance/dancing) and learn the new sentence pattern of this unit.

d）Play a game: Sharp eyes

When the Students see the word, they should read it out loud.

e) Guessing game: according to the pictures, the students should answer some questions.

Step 3: Practice: fill in the blanks (5mins)

Step4: Summary (3mins)

a) Sum up the rules of present participle.

b) Moral education: do the right things at the right time. c) Homework:

①Finish Practice 2: ask and answer on Page 52 with your partner. ②Finish the Activity on Page 54.
