教材分析:
课时:4 本课内容主要围绕What makes the weather, 主题为展开,讲述的是天气形成的过程,而在上一课时的学习中,学生已有所接触并巩固了有关天气的一些形容词,也初步了解了一些天气变化及形容天气的词语。在本篇课文学习中,重点要让学生掌握the changing weather,

a part of the air, turn into raindrops,这些词组的教学,可让学生在充分理解课文内容的基础上作后面的回答问题。基础较好的学生可以根据提示简单复述课文内容及根据课文内容改编新的对话。学困生也可以优生的帮助下读懂理解课文内容。
本单元Grand Theatre,学生对于天气的形成过程有一定的了解,但是用英语来表达这样的变化过程是有一定的困难的,因此在学习过程中教师可以利用天气变化中的关键词做成Word Cue让学生沿着这些关注点去想象,在想象的过程中来说话。学生首次接触科普类的文本材料,教学目的应以能阅读、能理解,结合学生已有的相关语言知识,简单交流为主。本单元主要培养学生了解大自然,热爱大自然,热爱生活的情操;培养学生注意观察天气变化,懂得气象知识,并了解大自然和我们的学习、工作和生活密切相关。
教学目标:(三维)
1. 能看图理解课文中出现的词组和单词:
