Step One Warm up 1. Greetings. 2. Free talk a. Where did you go in winter holiday? b. What did you do in winter holiday? c. Did you visit…? d. Did you do some housework? What did you do? 3. Lead in the classroom.
Step Two Presentation 1. Show a picture and ask: What can you see? Motivate the students to speak out the words they know. 2. Grasp and practice these words one by one with PPT. 3. Lead in the topic today: What a mess!
2. Show the questions before present the dialogue: Whose school bag is this? Whose notebook is this? Whose picture books are these? You should help Ss distinguish single form and plural form. 3. Answer the questions one by one by reading. 4. Read the dialogue.
a. Listen to the tape and repeat. b. Practice it freely and then in pairs. c. Feedback.
Step Three Practice 1. Show a table and help Ss grasp two different kinds of possessive pronouns. 2. Finish the exercise of Think and write.
Step Four Exercise 1. Copy the new words four times. 2. Write down the sentences with right possessive pronouns.
