Step 3: Presentation 1. Learn Page32. 1) Bearing on the free-talk, teacher says: some students like Chinese very much because the Chinese teacher is very kind and funny. Chen Jie is virsiting a primay school in the UK. A student in this school is talking about his Chinese teacher, too. What is his Chinese teacher like? Please read the dialogue on page32 by yourself, then find out the answer.

2) Read the dialogue after the tape.

3) Pair work. (Two choose one) Task1: Use the pictures on page32 to change the dialogue.

Task2: Who’s your favourite teacher? Choose one teacher and talk about him / her in pairs.

2. Learn Page33.

1) After checking the pair work, teacher says: just now, I know you have …today. What about David? What does he have on…? Let’s listen to the dialogue and fill in the table.

2) After checking the listening, let students to practice the sentences “What do you have on ..? I have …” with David’s Table in pairs. ( one student is David, the other one is Chen Jie.

3) Listen to the dialogue again, then circle the right answers. (exercises on page33)

4) Look at the David’s schedule, finish “tick or cross”. (exercises on page33) Step 4: Consolidation and extension 1. Fill in the blanks.

本课时的对话和听力教学，我采用从听说到读写的顺序，对学生的理解能力与书面表达能力进行训练，有效地提高了学生的口头语书面表达的能力。同时，我设计了多种不同形式的句型操练，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。存在的不足是：对学生表演对话环节的时间控制的不够好，导致后面的短文仿写环节的时间不够充分，有部分学生没有写完。

T: In the last period, we know that Chen Jie is visiting Willow Primary School. During her visit, we know about the teachers and subjects in the school. Now we will learn about the school menu. 2) Show the school menu，the students watch it and say out the food words. 3) Ask and answer. T: What do they have for lunch on …?Ss: They have … (according to the menu) 4) Reading tasks.

T: Today is Monday. It is time for lunch. Chen Jie is in the lunch room. Please read the menu and the dialogue, then fill in the blanks. 5) Check the answer. Then read the dialogue after the tape, then read in groups.

6) Draw your food on the plate(P34), then Role-play with your partner.

2. Chen Jie’s diary.

1) Introduction the diary.

T: After visiting Willow Primary School, Chen Jie knows something about the teachers, subjects and school menu. Then she writes a diary about what she knows about in the school. Let’ s read it and tick or corss. ① There are many red flowers at Willow Primary School. ② David is clever and hard-working. ③ The food at school is delicious. ④
