教材分析：

“Integrated skills”部分要求学生能从听力材料中获取有关风筝的信息，通过四位伟人来了解风筝的发展史，增长知识面。在获取信息的时候能灵活运用句型进行会话，能谈论关于户外运动的知识。

Step I Lead-in 1.

Review some outdoor acitivities in this unit(jogging; swimming; skating; camping; cycling; riding) 2.

Q: What outdoor activity do you like best? Why? 3.

Show a picture of flying kites and ask:Do you like flying kites? 4.

Show some different shapes(形状) of kites and ask: What do they look like?(bird;

dragon; plane; fish; horse; square) Step II Presentation & listening Today, Mr Wu is asking his students about their kites: 1.

Ask: What do the four kites look like?(bird; plane; fish; square) 2.

Listen to their conversation and write the students’ names under their kites in Part

A1, on Page 75.(Millie; Simon; Amy; Daniel) 3.

Show a picture of Shangdong province and ask: Which city is famous for kites in

China?

(Weifang, a city in Shandong Province) 4.

Present the pictures and ask: What can we use to make kites?

= What can we make kites out of? (paper, bamboo, wood) Now kite flying is a very popular activity around the world. Do you want to know the

history of kites?
