Lesson5 Where Is Danny?

一、教材分析

本单元是四年级下册第一单元,其主要内容是新学期开始了, Jenny和Danny返回学校。本单元复习学生在第1册到第3册中已经学过的有关教室用品的词汇和一些标准的问候语。本单元旨在使学生掌握更多的标准用语和常用的教室内物品的词汇。本课重点学习方位词的更多运用。

二、教学目标及重难点

1.教学目标

语言知识与技能目标

(1)学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:he, she

(2)学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:

-Where is he/she?

-He/She is ...

(3)学生能了解字母组合ea和oo在单词中的发音及规则。

学习策略目标

(1)要在日常情景中观察简单的英语对话;

(2)要养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯;

(3)学习时要集中精力。

情感态度目标

(1)培养学习英语的兴趣和好奇心,找机会练习学生的听力技巧。

(2)在日常生活中尽量模仿和使用英语。

2、教学重点

学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:

-Where is he/she?

-He/She is ...

3、教学难点:in front of, behind, between, in, on, under, beside 在实际生活中的运用。

Step I: Class Opening

1.Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss.Fan.

2.Review the numbers

Let’s count from 1-100.(数出3的倍数或5的倍数) How many students(boys, girls)are there in our classroom?

There are ______ students.

一排同学站起来,问How many students are there?

又一排同学站起来,问How many students are there?

Step II: New concepts

1. Review the words: in, on, under, beside, between. PPT呈现动态的小狗

2. Now, look at the pictures.(教学光盘)

What can you see? What are they doing?

P1: Where is Li Ming? He is in front of the tree. 用班里的学生演示单词in front of 并让学生试着造句。

P2: Where is Li Ming? He is behind the tree.

用班里的学生演示单词behind 并让学生试着造句。

教学反思:首先是在复习上节课一些重要的短语和句子。其次是通过思考题让学生回答导入新课。再次是让学生听录音练习对话,理解课文大意。最后是通过做练习题,来巩固本节课的内容,达到学以致用的目的。

通过教学,整体效果良好,大多数学生掌握了有关的语句和短语,并能够进行对话。课堂教学气氛融洽,学生有热情,积极参与。课后进行了抽查,达到了预期的效果。但是还有个别学生不能认真听讲,不积极参与课堂活动。今后多找这些学生谈话,力争使所有学生动起来。
