四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1. Let’s enjoy some songs. The first one is My aunt came back . The second one is A for the world. What are these songs about?

2. Play a game: What country is it? Have you ever been to the US. So the US is a new country to you.

3. If we’ll learn a new country, how will you do?

Step 2 Presentation

1. Here are some children. Who are they?

①They will learn a new country. Let’s watch and learn: What country will they learn about?

Teach : will (“will+动词原形”构成的一般将来时用来表达将来的状况或要发生

的动作。)

②读前言。Teach: learn about find out

③Read and find out how will they learn about Australia.(读课文左半部分)

How will Mike / Wang Bing / Liu Tao / Yang Ling do? (板书)④To learn a new country, what kind of way can we use? Summary:ask sb for help / surf the Internet / read books, magazines…
