Step I :Greetings.

T: Good morning everybody .

S: Good morning teacher.

T: Are you happy today？

S :Yes.

T:I am happy too 。

T: Who can remember when New Year’s Day is？

S:January the first T:When is Teachers’ Day？

S: September the tenth。

T:When is International Workers’ Day? S :May the first.

T:What about Children’ Day？When is Children’ Day？

S :June the first。

Step II :Lead-in

T: Xie Jia Yan，when is your birthday？。

T:Meng De Hui，when is your birthday？

S: My birthday is…

T: Well let’s listen to a song. (设计意图：通过听“The Month Song”导入今天天气的内容) Step III :

(After the song) T:In the song，we can hear the months of the year。We can also hear some new words。

Do you hear the word “sun，rain，snow”? Do not worry if you do not know。Let’s find out how to talk about what we see in the sky。
