To master the use of these sentence patterns to introduce the colors:

To have the skills of buying the things by using the words and the sentence patterns in this lesson.

To get the consciousness of protecting the world and cherish the colorful life. II. Teaching Methods:

VI. Teaching Procedures:

Step1 (5 min):

Greeting and Preparation: T: Hello everyone , today is a sunny day , right?

S: Yes. T: Ok,we have learnt so much color,such as....so,what color do you like? S: I like orange/red.... T: Another? OK, in this lesson this time, I will tell you how to introduce your favorite color, so, now, try your best to follow me, OK? 1

S: yeah. [Design Intent: In this part ,students can review the words that we have learnt in Unit7,and it can lead students to study new knowledge. ]

Step2 ( 10 min ):

Presentation A : ⑴Teacher present the pictures of new words on the screen:

T: Look at the screen carefully please,

do you know “what’s this”? Who can?

S:train.

(I teach other words in the same way) [Design Intent: In this part , the video and the big screen are used in the process of teaching. It can increase the interests of vocabulary learning .And this way can make students to master the words and patterns at the same time.. ] Step3 ( 8 min ) :

Practice A : Fill the blank: Teacher divide students into 4 groups and choose one from each group to finish the game.

T: you are supposed to choose from your group, and who can? Ok, please come in front of the classroom. S: Yes !

Then the game starts.

In the ending, teacher give the reward to the group which win the game. [Design Intent: Word guessing game can train students’ ability of filling the new words, this game can bring a deeper impression to the students, and besides, rewarding the winner is a good way to draw students’

attention and their interests to be rolled into the class activity and the process of teaching. ]

Step 4 ( 7 min ) :

Presentation B : ⑴Teacher lead students to come back to the sentence patterns in the video and guide them to summarize the structure of the sentences.

(2)Listen to the tape of “Listen and say”

Step 5 ( 10 min.): Practice B : ⑴Teacher play the radio. After that , students are given 2 minutes to practice in pair and then, teacher ask two pairs to show their conversation together to the whole class and correct their mistakes in tine. ⑵

Teacher show the pictures on the screen,then ask students to guess PictureA or PictureB? [Design Intent: In this process, students gets more chances to speak English to others, and the skills of the using of the new sentence structure can be trained consciously. ] Step 6 ( 3 min.): Consolidation and Extension:

Teacher guide the students to have a review of new words and the sentence patterns in this lesson.

Step 7 ( 2 min.):

Assignment Practicing the conversation with their classmates.
