Unit4 What do you see? I. Teaching time:

Period one. II. Teaching aims: Knowledge aim: Students can master the new words and the key sentences. Ability aim: Students can congnize the English name of the animals. Leading-in: We will watch a video about the zoo and see some animals. 2.

Presentation:

1). Learn some new words that the name of animals according to the video. Such as pig, chicken, fish, bird, sheep. 2). Group task: Apply the words to some simple sentences. For example, “This is my sheep.”

3). Learn letter “g” and letter “h” by an interesting story. 4). Learn the new words contain letter g or h. 5). Learn the key sentences: What do you see?

6). Practice the new sentences, and then, learn how to use the singular or plural of a noun. 7). Listen and say the dialogue. 8). Role-play. Students choose the different role to complete the dialogue. 3. Consolidation: 1). Practice by using the word cards. 2). Students can play the animals and others guess. 4.
