1.

教材分析：

本课的教学内容是人教版高中英语选修10 Unit 2阅读部分。

该部分的重点学习内容是通过不同的阅读技巧（如通过略读和查读从文中获取主要信息等）理解全文，并能针对阅读内容表达自己的观点。教师在课堂上要通过一系列的课堂活动提升学生的阅读能力。

学情分析

（1）在学习本课之前，学生已看过由莎士比亚作品《李尔王》改编而来的电影。

（2）学生基础一般，程度参差不齐。在设计这堂课时，任务应考虑学生的认知能力，让不同水平的学生回答难易不同的问题，以适应各个层次的学生，使学习有效、高效。

二．教学目标

知识与技能目标：通过不同的阅读技巧（如通过略读和查读从文中获取主要信息等）理解全文，并能针对阅读内容表达自己的观点。

过程与方法目标：通过所设计的课堂活动和任务，让学生主动参与，在合作探究中学习和理解文章。

（1）通过讨论、小组合作等形式，调动学生学习的主动性和积极性。

（2）理解该剧中不同人物的性格特点，学习Cordelia、the Duke of Kent 等人物的优秀品质，不断提高自身的品格修养。

三．教学重难点

1.重点：通过略读和查读等阅读技巧获取主要信息，并能针对阅读内容表达自己的观点。

2.难点：运用不同的阅读技能理解全文，能够正确描述人物品质。

四．教学策略与方法

1.本节课根据学生的特点及教学内容，采用任务型教学法和交际法相结合的方式来教学。

2.采用计算机多媒体辅助教学，增加阅读兴趣。

3.通过小组合作的方式提高学生的学习兴趣，学习主动性和积极性。

五．教学过程设计：

Step 1 Greetings

Greet the whole class as usual.

Have the students to enjoy the song--My father and my mother. Then answer the following questions.

Do you love your parents? (3)

Do you think it is important to show love and respect for your parents? (4)

How do you show love and respect for them? Can you give a good example？

（5）If parents believe their child has been disrespectful, what should they do about it? Will they kill you? 2. Discussion. Let the students work in groups of four to discuss the following questions. (1)

What was the traditional attitude towards the emperor?

What did the emperor do to keep his servants loyal to him? What happened to the servants who were not loyal? (3)

Who decided who the emperor's children would marry? For what reasons were marriages arranged? 设计意图:通过一首儿歌引入父母与子女关系这一话题，要求学生结合自身实际谈谈自己的看法和做法。然后与中国古代皇室父母与子女的关系进行比较。这两个话题都与阅读课文《李尔王》密切关联，可以帮助学生更好的理解剧中人物之间的关系以及剧情的发展。

The love test Get the students to read Part three in groups of four(role play). Then find out what the three daughters say to King Lear and what they get.At the same time analyse their reply.

设计意图：李尔王与女儿的对白堪称莎翁作品中最为经典的篇章之一。在这部分的学习中，要求学生四人一组分角色朗读，重点分析三个女儿的对白。

Task 5 Part 4(line 50--the end) The defence of Kent

Work in groups of two to read this part and decide whether the sentences are true or false. (1)

King Lear had expected to stay with Regan in his old age. (2)
