Teaching difficult points: Use several sentences to play a game Teaching aids: Flash cards, animal toys, PowerPoint, video Teaching procedures: Step 1 warm-up and review (8 minutes ) Lead in the topic by playing a song of page 44 in the textbook and ask students to try their best to learn to sing this song. After this, show students the paper in the blackboard with these sentences: Where is the book? Where is Mike? Where is Zoom? Where is Zip? Where are you?

Is Mike under the table? Is Zoom under the table? Is Zip under the table? Are you under the table? Are you under the bed? Are you in the toy box? (Justification: This can help to attract students' interest to learn this lesson. Meanwhile, it can help to review the main sentences: Where is my/ your/ the …? It’s in/ on/ under …). Step 2 presentations (28 minutes) Task 1 new word Explain to students the meaning of “behind”, “hide and seek” and “I can’t find you” by TPR

Teach students how to pronounce behind, hide and seek, I can’t find you. Ask one student to be the little teacher to teach the word for whole class. Task 2 Role play game Show students a video in the page 45 in textbook.

Ask students to read this story first and then teach them to read it out. Ask students to watch the video again and role play the main character in this video. Task 4 Guessing game Divide students into several groups which have 2 students of each. Then give each group a piece of cotton and several toys. Student 1 put this cotton on his or her eyes. Students 2 hide toys. Then student 2 asks student 1 the question “Where is the …?” Student 1 guess “Is it in/ on/ under…?” Then student 2 use “Yes, it is” and “No. it isn’t” to answer students 1’s question. The group which use the least time will win and they can get a toy.

( Justification：This group activity helps attract students' attention and interest. They can grasp the use of main sentences.) Step 3 summary （4 minutes）

The teacher will show the flash cards and sentences to lead students to review this story again. (Justification: it will help students to use the words and review the sentences they had learned.)

Recite the sentences in page 45 in the textbook.
